Smart Series
Smart clamping - a new vacuum clamping process for impressive results.
Smart clamping (a new technology developed by us) allows you to securely clamp work pieces with a flat surface with a vacuum capacity of 500 W per m, without having to cover the remaining free bores.
In this case, the clamping force of this system is five times higher than clamping with traditional side channel compressors or, as is often the case, with industrial vacuum cleaners.
This also greatly simplifies the installation in a CNC machine since the necessary cross sections of the supply lines are considerably smaller than with conventional clamping technology used until now.
Smart clamping eliminates leakage instead of particularly complex ducting being distributed uniformly over the surface.
This is achieved by the greatly improved efficiency of the system, which becomes even more apparent with an increasing number of free bores.
If a conventional hole-pattern vacuum table has more and more free bores during the processing, an ever-decreasing amount of energy is used to clamp the workpiece, while the lion's share is being blown through the room as air leakage.
With smart clamping this effect is drastically reduced. The result is an unprecedented level of flexibility in processing several workpieces in one setup, as well significantly easier operation. At the same time, a considerably larger chip volume can be generated with improved cut quality.
Thus saving CNC capacity and providing even better cost efficiency. Smart clamping can be used in every case where sheet metal or plastic panels need to be firmly clamped.
Regardless of whether it involves aluminium, copper, brass or other non-ferrous metals, stainless steel (VA) steel or plastics, for example polyester, PE (polyethylene), PA (polyamide), PC (polycarbonate), Perspex (acrylic glass, polyacrylic fibre) or graphite (e.g. fr electrode), the workpieces just need to have a flat underside for a clamping surface.
